I feel compelled to write a few words about what I experienced last night when I listened to your speakers for the very first time. How should I start to give a suitable description of my experience? Probably that way: having owned electrostatic speakers in the past I thought I knew enough about speakers. My current speakers are conventional floor standers as I cannot accomodate electrostats currently, but I would certainly have considered electrostats again. Until yesterday that was. Never did I know how much plain fun music playback can be when your speaker is not limited to certain recordings and to a certain volume range. How easy and effortless these horns were! Convincing my wife will probably be the hardest part now. But I will soon visit my friend with the Duo again, this time my wife will accompany me. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Ich war dieses Wochenende zu Gast auf der High-End in München und bin sozusagen in ihren Hörraum ,,gestolpert' - und war begeistert. Für ihren (überaus) freundlichen Vorführer war es überhaupt kein Problem auch mal eine Metallica-Platte oder die von mir mitgebrachte Musik zu spielen, obwohl ich als (armer) Schüler wohl nicht ihrer Zielgruppe angehöre. Bei Hersteller sah das schon anders aus . . .

Lange Rede kurzer Sinn, Metallicas Bassattacken habe ich wohl seltens zuvor so impulsiv erlebt. Danke dafür.

Last weekend I visited the High-End in Munich where I stumbled upon your studio – and I was amazed. For your (very amiable) demonstrator it was no problem to play a Metallica record as well as the music I had brought along myself, even though I doubt that as a (poor) student, I am part of your target group. Long story short: I have barely ever experienced Metallica this impetuously.

The conclusion thanks to my new experience is that: there is no other speaker that I can hear anymore! That is not a compliment, it is true. I have understood that all these 30 years in High End business, unfortunately I have lost (as most music lovers have lost) thousands hours of listening to the music but always with the wrong speakers. After auditioned to the Duo Avantgarde, the most of the other speakers sound nearly dead, unmusical, dark, artificial, without finesse, without live atmosphere, with wrong rhythm, wrong sound stage, wrong timing, wrong clarity, thin, without soul, without any live information and live enthusiasm, cheep and boring. For me that was one of the most important experience/ surprise, in this job. I thank you for your special products that will make me and other audiophiles-music lovers to feel how can be the real live music at home for first time.

I could go on and on -- I am a believer -- but what I would like to leave you with is that if you can currently sit down with your "music" system and become totally engaged, with inner detail beyond belief, amazing dynamics (both micro and macro), vivid soundstaging and an intimate attachment to your music, leaving you breathless everytime you listen.
