Unverhofft kommt oft. Nachdem ich im Oktober von meiner Uno auf eine Duo Omega gewechselt habe, bin ich dann vor Weihnachten nochmals schwach geworden und habe das Angebot von Hr. Schneider wahrgenommen, den Model 3 probezuhören. Meine Frau sagte bereits nach ein paar Takten Musik "Tja, den wirst Du wohl kaufen müssen".

Irgendwie habe ich es vorhergesehen, das es so kommen würde. Die Duos zeigen sehr deutlich die Grenzen des Model 5+ gegenüber dem Model 3 auf. In nahezu allen Belangen spielt der Model 3 besser. Ein sehr harmonisches Hören. Ich habe das Gefühl, mit Model 3 und Duo Omega kommt zusammen, was zusammen gehört. Auch Röhren-Freunde sollten sich diesen Amp mal anhören. Gerade der Hochton spielt sehr offen und angenehm. Und wieder hat mich innerhalb kurzer Zeit der AA-Virus infiziert.

Danke auch nochmals für den wie immer vorbildlichen Kundensupport aller Avantgardistis in Lautertal, einfach Klasse.

After switching from my UNO to a DUO Omega in October, I gave in to temptation before Christmas and accepted Mr. Schneiders offer to listen to the Model 3. After a few strokes my wife told me “Well, it looks like you’re going to have to buy this one too.”

Somehow I predicted that it would end this way. The DUOs run rings around the Model 5+ when compared to the Model 3. The Model 3 is better in nearly every way. It is beautifully modulated. I feel like the DUO Omega and Model 3 were made for each other. Even Fans of valve amplifiers should give it a try. Especially the high frequencies are pleasant. And again I have been infected with the AA-Virus

THE AVANTGARDES WERE REALLY BEYOND

During the recent Hi-Fi exhibition in Athens, I had the opportunity to hear and listen the DUO Omega system. Even though, the room was not a good one, the sounding stage, the body and the "colors" of the Omega system was excellent. I have the chance to hear a number of different speaker systems, but the Avantgarde was really beyond. Nikos Mendrinos was very kind and he allows us to listen a variety of music. Jazz, rock and classical. In all cases the DUO omega system performed almost perfect with a very pure sound.

I would like also to comment about the design. Progressive, innovative, modern, as it stands the word "avant-garde". Keep up with this excellent work.

Die DUO Omega ist ein solch grosser Schritt zu meiner UNO, das hätte ich nicht geglaubt. Gerade in den eigenen 4 Wänden erlebt manch einer in Punkto Lautsprecher ein blaues Wunder. Aber nicht bei Avantgarde-Hörnern. Spielt die UNO gut, spielt die DUO einfach besser. Meine leichte Skepsis war nach den ersten Tönen weggeblasen. Was ginge erst mit einer Trio? :-)

Nochmals Danke an das ganze Team, natürlich an Hr. Schneider, der die Installation perfekt hinbekommen hat.

As incredible as it sounds, compared to the UNO, the DUO Omega has come a long way. Especially at home not every speaker holds what was promised. However not the Avantgarde horns. If the UNO is good, the DUO is great. At first I was a bit skeptical but that changed after a few strokes. I can only dream about the Trio now. Thanks again to the whole team and of course Mr. Schneider, whose installation was perfect.

While visiting the Hi End Audio Video Show in Athens, I had the opportunity to listen to the Avantgarde. Although I had read the superlative comments at "Stereophile", I was not really prepared for the breathtaking experience! A huge soundstage, combined with transparent sound with full bass and extended, but never strained mids and highs! A dream of clarity and smoothness with all the necessary force whenever required!I am not aware how much the other (also very impressive) components were responsimble for this performance, but the Avantgarde sound was the BEST sound in this Audio Video Show!A very serious candidate for any Hi End System!

When I first listened to the Avantgards, at the Munich show in 2005, I was impressed how real they were presenting the whole music program by sitting at the proper sweet spot! From that moment I was always curious to listen to the Avantgardes every time I had been in Munich. Recently I had a great experience listening the new Avantgardes demonstrating by Nick Mendrinos, and as always I am now convinced of the purity and the musicality they are producing. The soundstage is now more wide, 3-dimensioned and the build quality is astonishing good! BRAVO to all of you!
